British Columbia’s “Golden Triangle” has become a hot area play in recent years, and not without reason. The region hosts both very large and very high-grade gold and copper deposits. But that doesn’t mean that every scrap of ground in the area is full of treasure. So, when a company says they are exploring in the Golden Triangle, that’s not reason enough for me to buy the stock. I want to know what they have discovered, or what basis they have to hope for a significant discovery—and if they’re going to be able to pay for the work needed to add value for shareholders. That’s exactly what I asked Joe Mullin, CEO of Colorado Resources (CXO.V).
As always, no In The Pit interview should be taken as an endorsement of the company or recommendation for the stock covered.
